I have been asked by several people in the past few months if I was afraid of our new president.
My response is, "Why?" Although, yes he has said some things and done some things that are rather frightening to us as Christians and homeschoolers, it is all really stuff that has been going on a long time and now is coming out into the open.
There are those who have been planning what is going on for some time now, that could be a scary thought except that it says in the scripture, that God is sitting up in Heaven laughing at them.
Isn't that a pleasant thought? Well, for us anyway.
I am not afraid because I am secure in my Lord and I know He is on the Throne.
" No power of hell, no scheme of man, can ever pluck me from His hand
Till He returns or calls me home, here in the power of Christ I'll stand."

Amen! I agree that, even though Obama has a lot of exectutvie power, he is still just a mna, who God made and knows inside & out. We have nothing to be afraid of when we are trusting God. Thank you for the great post!

Love this post. . . and so true. . .there's a poem that is in the Jesus freaks book that kinda goes with this. . .just that we shouldn't be afraid of what the world can do to us because God is always for us. . . speaking of poems thanks for your comment on mine as well as the photography. . I enjoy it a lot. ;)
